The Art of Coupon Stacking-Lesson 1

Coupon stacking is when you use more than one coupon to purchase one item. In Western Canada

London Drugs is the only store that will allow the use of more than one manufacturer coupon on one item at a time. Some other stores such as Superstore will allow you to combine an in-store coupon with a manufactureer coupon.

One of the most important things to know is if you are combinging coupons are the rules, there are many but once you get some expereince you will know them even better than some of the cashiers ;) Here is a link to a beginners guide for the rules of stacking which will help you get started: A Beginners Guide To Stacking Coupons at London Drugs

To begin pin point the product you plan to purchase; I will use an example to clarify:

I am planning to purchase Old Spice Deoderant. It is on sale at Zellers which I price matched to London Drugs for $2.00. I plan to use enough coupons by combining them to get the item for free and only paying tax.

Step 1: Locate the Sale

* In this case I found Old Spice Deoderant for $2 each at Zellers so I Price Matched it to London Drugs.

Step 2: Organize your stack

* Notice I used 2 different coupons to total the amount when I buy 2 of the product. Make sure you read the fine print carefully so you don't get there and find out you picked out the wrong item or wrong amount.

Step 3: Purchase your item
* In most cases if the coupons go over they will adjust the coupons to the value of the product and you will be left with the taxes!
